You will find some houses that have crazy pride and splash their letters all over the place and you will find some that dont really care. No one wants to say it because they have a strong tradition and are nice girls and don't really appear to be struggling for numbers or anything. However something happened and over the past few years they did a 180. Get APhi and AXO leftovers. Among the negative sentiments about Chi Omega members is that they can be a bit isolated (maybe even exclusionary) and limit themselves to their own philanthropic and social activities over cooperation with other Greek-letter organizations. ,UT rush is incredibly competitive due to the high number of legacies and in state students who already have connections with the chapters, plus the number of PNMs who only seem to want one of six chapters. Kappa Alpha Phi is considered by many to be an upper mid-tier sorority. The Kappas aren't rich like the Pi Phis and Thetas. They are held to a higher standard, which pushes them to be the best that they can be. I never felt compelled to join myself, but you are right, those that do good charity work should be admired. NO ONE has the right to try to determine which is "better" than the other. Kappa Delta (KD) is considered an up-and-coming sorority, one that has risen to the top-tier in terms of reputation in recent decades. Contrary to what the first poster said, I believe ADPi has been seeing the most improvement. Im proud of my sorority. Every house has an objective and will recruit accordingly. After being exposed to many sororities in my sophomore year in college, I arrived at these decisions and learned a bit through osmosis.. plan on rushing and MEET THE GIRLS. Theta girls are a lot more "fun" and Kappa girls are more "nice" girls. And the KD's are definitely a hodge podge, but I love em! Hot girls but probably no Kappas or Pi Phis wish they were Thetas. Or, maybe they will just end up in DDD because they were cut from PKT but who cares! They have a reputation for accepting those who were rejected by top-tier sororities and that they are a backup option for many. It's just a great place to meet friends that you will have for the rest of your life. You know those girls that were left over or that nobody else would take? Many girls who get AXD end up dropping.
